DataFormation see our relationship with the client as an on-going, two-way partnership.  Consultation is the key.  We work closely with clients throughout the analysis and programming stage - and thereafter, by providing maintenance and support.

Our aim is to listen to your needs, understand your business, and provide solutions in a cost-effective way.

How do we achieve this?

Answer: by using two methodologies, which together, have revolutionised the way we can design and refine your system requirements.  These are:

  • Magic's eDeveloper Rapid Application Development tool (RAD)
  • Dynamic System Design Methodology (DSDM)

Some programming approaches rely on the initial spec document being set in stone, written in technical terms not always accessible to clients who may be signing it off without understanding the full implications.  Subsequent amends in this situation, often mean rewriting and incurring significant costs.

Using our powerful RAD tool, however, means we can show you screens right from the start - so initial drafts can be quickly modified and your feedback can be rapidly integrated into the evolving system.  On-going changes can be made until you are happy with the best solution.

A benefit of the DSDM methodology is that all tiers of users - from senior management, to end-operators, are consulted in order to contribute towards the development of the system.  This approach ensures a high level of end-user acceptance and satisfaction - vital to the smooth and successful implementation of your new system.

This way of working - in constant communication with our clients - often enables us to discover previously unthought of features or solutions.  Our answer to the frequently-asked question "could you make it do that?" is usually "yes we can!"
